Common questions

How is usage measured?
Per LLM request. Each call your agents make is metered, costed at the provider's published rate, and aggregated daily into a credit ledger. You can inspect every line.
What if I bring my own provider key?

Plug in your Anthropic, OpenAI, or other provider key and we route directly through it. You pay the provider; we bill only the platform fee on the volume your agents drove. Either way, your total spend is the same.

Worked example for a $1.00 call:

Real billing is per-request, aggregated daily, metered to the cent.

What about the sandbox, the data pipeline, the rest of the stack?
Included. The platform fee is the only Levain line on your invoice. Compute, storage, observability, and the agent harness are part of the platform.
Do I commit to a minimum?
No. You prepay a credit balance, your agents draw it down, you top up when it runs low. We'll talk about volume agreements if your usage warrants it.
Can the price change?
Yes. We may adjust the platform fee or the broader pricing structure (tiers, meters, billing model) as the product evolves. Customers with an active balance or contract get at least 30 days written notice before any change takes effect, and the rate on each historical transaction is preserved in the ledger.
