Catch up on what shipped.

A dated note for each week that reached production, written for the engineer who builds on Levain: what changed, and what it lets you do.

Entries are written when a change reaches production, not when it merges, and every call named here is in the documentation.

Updates

Work from your phone with a bottom tab bar

  • On a phone, Home, Goals, Agents and Knowledge sit in a tab bar at the bottom of the screen, with everything else under More. The bar clears the home indicator and steps aside while you type, like a native app.
  • levain-sdk and levain-cli release to PyPI with every change that reaches production, so the package you install matches the platform it talks to.

Open the dashboard

Manage org agents beside your workspace agents

  • The agents you publish for your customers sit on the Agents page under your workspace agents, with the same overview, recipe, runs, config and usage views. Build and publish them from there.
  • Edit an org agent from Claude through the MCP, addressed as org:<slug>: fork a draft, push, verify, publish, the same loop as a workspace agent.
  • Belong to more than one organization and sign-in asks which one; the account menu lists every organization and workspace, so switching is one click.

Build from Claude

Stream an embedded run token by token

  • The run event stream and the SDK carry text as it is generated, so a session in your own interface reads like a chat instead of arriving in blocks.
  • Create a customer workspace with an external_id and the call is idempotent: the same id returns the same workspace, so a retried provisioning job never makes two.
  • Hand a headless workspace an MCP server and its credential through the organization API; no one has to sit through an OAuth flow.
  • Wiki search ranks pages by meaning as well as by matching words.
  • Claude Fable 5.1 is in the model catalog.

Streaming

Export each customer's usage to your billing system

  • Read a workspace's usage for the month in a shape a billing system takes, and bill your customer from it.
  • Export a workspace's run records, with a view you can show the customer the agent acted for.
  • Subscribe to a run as an AG-UI event stream and render it in your own interface with the toolkit you already use.
  • Send a customer a hosted connect link and they connect their own tools to their workspace; you never handle the credentials.
  • Pin a workspace to an agent version and roll it back, or roll a new version out to one customer before the rest.
  • Cap a workspace's spend and its concurrent runs, and delete a workspace with one call.

Usage and billing per customer

Look further back.

Before weekly entries, one line per change. The changes you can call from the API come first in each month.
